The PuipiKak Malu Indigenous Corporation is driving the creation of a local school dedicated to marine habitat conservation and restoration. This initiative will equip local residents with accredited skills and knowledge, enabling them to build sustainable blue economy businesses.

At The PuipiKak Malu Indigenous Corporation, we view education as the cornerstone for the islands' future. Our goal is for most of the trainers, teachers, and managers to be drawn from the local community, ensuring that the education system remains self-sustaining and continues to grow from within.
We recognise that skills in aquaculture, eco-tourism, water management, coral planting and restoration, sustainable fishing practices, mangrove ecosystem management, and more are vital for the health of our islands’ land and seas. When managed properly, these systems can effectively support and sustain the needs of our local community.
